New Website and Blog!

Hello everyone! This will be my last entry to this blog. Why you ask? Because I have a new site!! DoryLTuohey.com combines both my blog and the website.

I have an updated look and I'm now using my full name for my business rather than d2e. My old website will soon redirect you to the new site until I feel the transition is complete, and my d2e email will continue working as well. So please go take a spin on the new site! I'm sure many of you will see some familiar faces in my portfolio. :)

At the Barn.

I just got my new Nikon D3 camera and what better place to try it out than the barn! Of course we start things off with my boy Gravano. It was a beautiful day out and as you can see, Gravano is soaking it in.

This is Slew Slayer. He is Gravano's pasture buddy and they used to race together.
Here we have Vigo and Porter in the back. Vigo is a paint draft cross and if I had a paint, I'd want him to be just like Vigo.
Gravano again... still soaking in the sun. so cute.
I really need to make a game for the barn called "Name That Nose." Does anyone know this nose without checking the next photo?
It's Luke! Luke is a BLM Mustang. Cutest mustang pony I know.

Here we have Bella. I love her pink sparkle crop and custom half chaps.
Bella jumping Obi. This girl is rockin' it!

Finishing up with Slew. He stopped to look out the door. Wonder what he's thinking.

A new year.

Happy New Year everyone! And what a year this past one has been! I went full time on my own, away from the studio, and what a success it was! I photographed somewhere around 30 weddings, and what a blast it was. From Green Bay WI, to South Bend IN, to Hilton Head SC - I've had the pleasure of photographing all over.

2009 is already in full swing. Thanks to everyone I've worked with for spreading my name around. I've got about 15 weddings booked already. My husband is also redesigning my look with an all new logo, business card, brochure, and soon to come website.

In addition to the many weddings I've done this year, I've also had the pleasure of meeting many new youngsters who have kept me on my toes. While winter is usually slower for family photos, I am certainly game for some outdoor time with snow angels and snowball fights. I'll be sending out a pdf in the weeks to come with new pricing and a referral program.

Thanks again everyone!

Abby and Ryan

Abby and Ryan came to only about a month ago. The photographer they booked over a year ago vanished! Can you believe that? Thankfully I was available and made it up to Green Bay for their wedding. They got married in the same church that I did just over 4 years ago.

I love the buttons on Abby's dress.

Shhhh.... don't tell Father Dave he wasn't able to keep this little guy up during the ceremony.

Abby and Ryan were totally willing to brave the rain and fog to get some outside shots. I'm so glad because they turned out beautiful!

The little ones started us off on the dance floor.

The Dovel Family

Here we have little Landon and Becket. It was their first time with me and they did a great job! We went to Grandma's house and played with all the dogs by the tree.

Thank goodness for high ceilings!

Ogurek Family

One year ago we were trying to stuff little Brooklyn into a xmas stocking and now she's walking! She also loves to color, wear sunglasses, and make goofy faces with her dad. :)
